How do I book a therapist to come to my office/event?

What happens after I send a request to book a therapist?

You will be contacted via phone or email with more information regarding your personal requirements and circumstances and to confirm your booking.

What is the cancellation procedure?

We understand that on occasion it may be necessary to cancel or reschedule your Massage Event. As a courtesy to our other clients and therapists, we ask that you provide us with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your Massage Event. Events cancelled within 48 hours will incur a 50% charge of the total invoice and within 24 hours will incur a 100% charge. We recommend that all cancellations are made by phone rather than email – please call and speak to a member of our team on +41 76 803 49 97. For individual appointments, you may cancel or re-schedule at any time, providing that you find a substitute client (i.e. your colleague) to take your slot.

Do we need to sign any contract in order to have regular massages?

At the moment, we do not offer a written contract of services for regular clients. An email from you, confirming dates and times of massages, serves as a confirmation of services for us. We offer flexible services, so dates and times can be amended within reasonable time frames ( no less than 48 hours before the date of the Massage Event)

Can I book a therapist to come to my house?

“Think Balance!” is only operating in corporate or events environment, therefore, booking for a private massage at home is not possible. We do, however, offer events massages and can come to your event at home ( hen party, birthday party, well-being day with friends, etc). In case of booking a therapist to a home address, a minimum of 2 therapists is to be booked, for a minimum of 2 hours each.

What are the different massage packages you are offering?

Think Balance is offering personalised services in Office Massage and Events Massage. Office Massage brings spa treatments to your workplace, by customising them to suit office environment. Exhibitions & Events package helps your business to stand out at exhibitions, events, product launches, awards or corporate parties. It will help people to associate your business with wellness and healthy lifestyle. A therapist at your stand will definitely draw attention! What can I expect when I book a therapist from Think Balance?

A fully qualified and insured therapist will arrive to your office/event venue and set up the treatment area. We just need a quiet corner/meeting room (with a power socket for Office Massage treatments). More information can be obtained by contacting the team.

How much do the services cost?

Who is paying for the massages?

Although we highly recommend and encourage employers to sponsor massage treatments for their team, there is a possibility for the employees to pay their massage fees directly.

What methods of payment do you accept?

After the Massage Event, an invoice will be issued to the company. For regular massage treatments, we issue monthly invoices (payable within 14 days). For individual payments, we accept cash, EC/Maestro and most credit cards. Unfortunately, we do not accept Post Card.

Do you have a massage cabinet?

“Think Balance!” is a mobile office massage company, which means, we come to our clients’ office or event. We do not have a massage cabinet, although, there is now a possibility to get a massage at the Impact Hub Zurich Viadukt. For more information and to book, please email info@thinkbalance.ch

Do you offer table massage services?

No, “Think Balance!” is only offering Chair Massage services and Reflexology.


Do I have to get undressed?

No, treatments are performed on fully clothed clients. For Reflexology treatments, shoes and socks will need to be taken off. Therapist may ask the client to remove bulky jewellery or headwear.

Do you use any oils or creams?

No oils or creams are used, apart from Reflexology treatments, where at client’s discretion a small amount of Reflexology balm can be used. There is also an option of having an aromatherapy “booster”. ( Subject to prior agreement and extra charge)

I have a health condition – can I still have a treatment?

Please notify your therapist prior to the treatment whether you are suffering from any serious health conditions, or are pregnant. Unfortunately, according to insurance policy, we do not provide massage treatments to pregnant ladies in first trimester.

How long do the treatments last?

A minimum booking time is 2 hours. During that time, treatments can last anything from 15 to 30 minutes for Massage treatments and 30 minutes for Reflexology.


Are you recognized by the Swiss Health Insurance Providers?

Our therapists are registered with the EMR ( Erfahrungsmedizinische Register). This quality label is recognized by many Swiss health insurance providers. For more information, please see the “Health Insurance” section on our website.

How can I be reimbursed for my massage fees from a Health Insurance provider?

To make a successful claim, you must notify us of your intention prior to your massage treatment, in order for us to prepare documentation. You will be issued with a special EMR- recognized Invoice, which you will then send to your Health Insurance Provider. Please note, that neither EMR, nor “Think Balance!” guarantee your reimbursement.

Are your therapists professionally insured?

Yes, as an extra proof of quality and precaution, all our therapists must hold a valid professional indemnity insurance. “Think Balance!” is fully insured as a business with AXA.

Are you registered as a business in Switzerland?

“Think Balance!” is registered as a GmbH with the Commercial Register of Canton of Zurich CHE-154.393.126
